About our clearance computers

Clearance PCs are end-of-line refurbished business desktops priced to clear. They are a good way to equip an office, school lab or call centre cheaply. For our very lowest prices see computers under R3 000, or browse our full range of refurbished computers.

Getting the most from a clearance PC

A few small choices make a big difference to how an older desktop feels.

Choose an SSD model

An SSD starts Windows and opens programs several times faster than a hard drive. It matters more than the processor on an older PC.

Check the Windows version

Desktops older than the 8th generation of Intel Core run Windows 10. That suits most office work and point of sale.

Give it one main job

A clearance PC is ideal as a till, reception machine, second PC or classroom computer, where it runs a few programs reliably.

Clearance computers: frequently asked questions

What is a clearance computer?

A clearance computer is an end-of-line or older generation refurbished PC that we price to clear, to make room for new stock. Each one is tested before it is listed.

Are clearance PCs good for an office?

For email, browsing, Office and point of sale, yes, especially models with an SSD. Use the Drive filter to show SSD models, which feel much faster.
